This program featured Paul Offit, the Director of the Vaccine Education Center at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, and Peter Salk, a distinguished biomedical researcher and son of Jonas Salk, and a highly distinguished panel.  Welcome remarks were presented by Mark Nordenberg, Chancellor Emeritus, Chair of the Institute of Politics, Director of the Dick Thornburgh Forum for Law & Public Policy.

This program featured Pitt graduate Brett Murphy, who was a part of the ProPublica team that received the 2024 Pulitzer Prize for Public Service for its reporting on forces that might be influencing the Supreme Court, and Katelyn Polantz, also a Pitt graduate and Senior Reporter on Crime and Justice for CNN.   Mark Nordenberg, Chancellor Emeritus, Chair of the Institute of Politics, Director of the Dick Thornburgh Forum for Law & Public Policy, moderated the program.
