Congratulations to the 2017 recipient of the J. Evans Rose, Jr. Prize for Government Service!

Zoe M. Reyes

During Zoe’s time at the University of Pittsburgh School of Law, she devoted herself to working with government agencies.  Through internships at the Allegheny County Public Defender’s Office, working for Southwestern PA Legal Services, and participating in Pitt Law’s Immigration Clinic, Zoe was lead to seek a career in the field of government interest. Zoe was raised in the military community and had considered the idea of joining the military and devoting her skills to the JAG Corps.  It was during her second year of Law School that she applied to the Navy JAG Corps and received an offer to serve as a JAG Officer.
