Congrats to Brianna B. Bell!

Brianna Bell has been selected as one of two recipients of the Dick Thornburgh Prize for Legal Service for 2021. 

Brianna received her Juris Doctor degree from the University of Pittsburgh in 2021 and a Bachelor of Arts, English, and Religious Studies degree from Franklin and Marshall College in 2011.

In law school, Brianna has held positions relating to her passion for child advocacy including internships with the juvenile division of the Allegheny County Public Defender's Office, the Children's Law Center in D.C., and KidsVoice.  She was a member of the University of Pittsburgh Law Review and a senior editor at JURIST.

In the fall, Brianna will begin her Equal Justice Works Fellowship at KidsVoice to advocate for special education students whose education has been interrupted by the pandemic.  Her fellowship is generously sponsored by PNC Bank and Reed Smith LLP.
